One of the UK`s most renowned construction businesses is seeking a highly successful business development professional to manage and develop their Kent based team. The role will develop new and maintain. existing client relationships and oversee submissions at the PQQ and tender stage. Reporting to the Director duties will include:
· Developing strategies to successfully win projects and develop new relationships. · Significantly improve proposal and tender submissions and ensure optimum projects are selected. · Manage an up-to-date library of standard responses required by clients and the company`s CRM database. · Consistently look to improve service levels to clients. · Promote the company`s commitment to partnering with clients, subcontractors and suppliers. · Manage
the Business Development Team effectively to secure they meet objectives. · Promote the company within the market to highlight its strategic partnership and PFI capabilities. · Developing and maintain relationships with a variety of contacts in the market that can help in the winning of future projects.
The ideal candidate will have an excellent business development track record and experience of developing refurbishment and new build opportunities within the social housing market place. You will be a natural leader, capable of developing team to their full potential. Experience of PFI/PPP would also be of interest.
