The Background

An International engineering company who is a leader in their industry seeks a Head of Supply Chain with end-to-end Supply Chain experience to join their team.

The Role

As the Head of Supply Chain You’ll be responsible for:

Managing the Supply Chain related functions and areas such as Materials planning, Procurement, Scheduling, Inventory Management and Warehousing.

This particular role is end-to-end Supply Chain Management; therefore as mentioned above you will effectively oversee the entire supply chain with approximately around 60 members of staff reporting into you.

This role is heavily focussed towards the Purchasing and Planning therefore a lot of the role will be ensuring these aspects of the department are efficient and you must use your skills and experience to look at ways to improve them.

This is an entirely new position created through growth therefore there may be additional responsibilities which may be assigned at a later date.

You

You’ll come from either an Aerospace or Automotive background and you will have an in depth knowledge of Supply Chain from end-to-end and your past experiences will clearly demonstrate this. You’ll be able to clearly demonstrate your knowledge more specifically towards Purchasing and Planning.

You’ll be a strong charismatic manager who is accustomed to managing change.

You will preferably be educated to degree level and be MCIP’s accredited however this is not mandatory.
