Sourcing/Procurement Manager

We are looking for Procurement Managers/Leads/Executives/Specialists with a background in in-direct sourcing looking at a range of commodity areas such as:

Telecommunications (mobile or fixed line) Recruitment Transport/Logistics Managed Services IT (Infrastructure/data/software) Facilities Management Travel Software Professional Services

As part of a key procurement function for a market leading solutions provider, you will be managing procurement, assisting in the transition from tactical to strategic sourcing. You will be dealing with multi million pound spend.

-Negotiation of commercial supplier agreements, to achieve savings targets -Management and implementation of procurement bid processes for requirements within the commodity group -Supplier relationship management, including dispute, risk, issue, and SLA`s -Review of purchase orders ensuring goods and services are ordered correctly -Management of multi function, virtual teams -Regular reporting on activities, spend, savings, and project status

The successful Procurement Manager will:

-Have a strong procurement background with management of IT commodities for a large organisation -Be able to negotiate effectively and have a track record of securing value for money supplier agreements -Have a strong knowledge of bid process management, including documentation; supplier sourcing, evaluation and selection; proposal analysis and evaluation -Understanding of strategic selling techniques -Dispute management -A background in leading virtual teams, either UK-wide or across EMEA.
