The Role
The role holder will be responsible for all aspects of service delivery and client management within the Metropolitan Police and other related bodies. This will include: oBuilding senior level relationships within the Metropolitan Police and managing client directors who will be responsible for day-to-day customer engagement oTo own the business strategy for the Met Police account and deliver business growth oTo ensure that services are delivered effectively and that operational excellence is achieved though management of virtual teams oTo lead commercial activity to ensure that existing and new contracts are set in a sound commercial framework oTo build relationships with industry partners oTo communicate the strategy for the Metropolitan Police internally as well as externally oTo ensure accurate sales forecasting
The Person oSignificant experience of working at a strategic level within the public sector is essential and knowledge of the Metropolitan Police would be of benefit oA background that may include programme management, business development or operational delivery aspects but that will certainly give you the ability to fulfil a general management role oExperience of the IT or communications services markets would be of great benefit oExperience of working at a senior level on major projects/contracts oExperience of being responsible for PandL would be of particular interest oAbove all a business leader with strong relationship building skills
