Major / Key Account Manager - Software Solution Sales
Location: Base Surrey / Home office / Client site Salary: To £41K Basic + £100K OTE (Uncapped) + Quarterly Bonus (£6K pa) + £6K Car Allowance + Full benefits package.
We are looking for an experienced Account Manager to join the existing team for this software consultancy / Solution Provider. This is a Major Account Manager role reporting directly to the Account Director EMEA. With strong vendor partnerships, this company continues to grow rapidly and is looking to strengthen its Sales Account Management team. You will be responsible for the generation of revenue through timely support renewals and management of “ad hoc” revenue (e.g. additional licenses, consultancy/professional services) and project revenue (anything requiring project management) across an account base of established clients.
Your background will include:
- Proven sales experience with comprehensive knowledge of sales process (proven development of key accounts) - Proven ability to move up the organisational “food chain” and make/engage with CxO level contacts - Experience of escalation and issue resolution - Some knowledge of ECM, ideally document management, output management, data capture and business process management. - Consultative “solution sales” approach to business development. - Self motivated and able to work without day to day supervision. Still needs to be a team player. - Keen to further career
