MANAGING DIRECTOR, AUTOMOTIVE PRECISION COMPONENTS, WEST MIDLANDS

Our client is a very well established Tier 1 automotive sector components supplier, based in the West Midlands / Black Country area, closed to the M5, M6 and M42 motorways. The business is an integral part of the automotive supply chain for a number of OEMs including Aston Martin, Jaguar Land Rover and Toyota.   The company operates as a wholly autonomous subsidiary of a large international engineering, aerospace and automotive group, and the reporting line for the newly-appointed Managing Director will be directly to

a Group Vice President.  This is a profit and loss business management role, controlling a £60 million turnover finishing and assembly operation based in the Midlands. The business has strong supply chains with the Far East and Eastern Europe, from where semi-finished materials, products and components are imported. The business operates on JIT and Kan-Ban policies.   This is an excellent opportunity for a well experienced business manager to take the helm of a profitable and innovative automotive sector business, with the autonomy to make real executive decisions and the group support to succeed.
