Company Information:

*An industry leading Food business supporting a range of major customers from their manufacturing facilities across the UK *To facilitate the efficient and effective running of this plant they now seek to appoint a high calibre Manufacturing Manager/Plant Manager/General Manager to oversee day to day operations.

Essential Criteria:

*A minimum of 5 years management experience gained within a Food manufacturing environment. *Broad knowledge of other disciplines such as Quality, Hygiene, Health and Safety, Engineering and business process improvement. *Experience of developing budgetary/financial objectives *Able to demonstrate strong decisive leadership skills of which teamorking and working in a matrix environment will be key. *Experience of world class manufacturing. *Experience of working with HACCP/IFS/ BRC/AIB standards. *Strong process improvement skills

   

 

Ideally You Will Have The Following:

*Educated to degree level. *Existing relationships built across a number of sectors within the food industry.

Role Responsibilities:

*Manage the team to understand business vision and ensure clear philosophy for quality, customer care, and production. *Demonstrate effective management and development of people *Operate a commitment to the effective management of Health and Safety, ensuring that working practices in relation to Health and Safety are maintained and potential hazards or unsafe practices are identified and corrective measures are actioned. *Ensure visibility of managers around the site for open communication and to encourage input and ideas from all employees. *Ensure business plans are followed and budgets are established and met by all manufacturing teams. *Define areas of responsibility and accountability clearly and logically to your team.
