Our client is a leading FMCG organisation with a UK and European presence. Supplying branded products in to a range of sectors, they are out performing the competition and have significant year on year growth across their customer portfolio. With an expanding customer base and product range they seek to appoint a Marketing Director to spearhead customer retention, growth and acquisition. A creative thinking with a hard commercial edge – this role is a challenging but rewarding role for a proven senior commercial marketing professional.

Leadership is the key. You will manage a team through four direct reports with a larger team of 25. Your remit will be direct and lead the entire division through your insights and strategic plan. Strong consumer brand understanding is vital as is a wide knowledge of trade marketing and promotional strategies being tailor made for customers. The role will develop and execute the plans in line with the commercial team to deliver the financial plan. Your peer group will be across senior commercial and supply chain.

You will of degree calibre and ideally have additional qualifications in marketing. You will have a proven track record of brand and marketing strategy development and implementation in the UK. Managing a multi million budget you will be proven financially and have delivered sales growth in a variety of sectors. You will have a breadth of team management experience as well as board interaction.
