My client based in Birmingham is seeking an experienced National Press and PR Officer.

My Central Government client is seeking a National Press and PR Officer to promote the organisations work Nationally and dealing with all national, regional and specialist media.

The role will involve: - Developing and implementing the national communications plans - Providing a press officer service to the National Press Office - Developing an positive new stories programme to promote the work of the organisation - Developing launch plans for the new information serives for a range of audiences enquiries.

To be considered for this role you must: - Have previous experience of working in a Press Officer role within the Public Sector - Have a clear understanding of how the different communication channels interact together and work best together - Have a proven rack record of developing the communications plans - Evidence of drafting and researching concise and accurate press notice's and briefs - Clear evidence of working with stakeholders and sustaining relationships
