Senior Security Systems Specialist - Network Security (Checkpoint)

Our client is one of Europe’s leading IT Infrastructure Technology integrators and services providers and due to continued success are now seeking a Senior Network Security Systems Specialist to look after the perimiter security for their wide network of supported customers. With a strong background in Network Security you will have extensive exposure to Checkpoint Firewalls and Nokia platforms and you will be CCSE certified. With experience in managing enterprise scale networks you will be the primary technical contact for our clients network

team on all network security issues. Your main responsibility will also be to provide high level technical support relating to users of the corporate network and provide technical proposals, conducting delivery of managed service solutions as part of project teams. You will have experience of implementations and the subsequent documentation for projects and be comfortable in supporting the end user at client site. You must have an understanding of VLAN Tagging and sub interface technology. This exciting new position is a varied and challenging role with one of the most successful organisations in the UK.
