This is a role for a proven Sales Specialist who enjoys the challenge of winning major new business supply contracts within the retail marketplace. The Client is an established and profitable business providing gift cards, stored value cards and loyalty cards with supporting services to leading UK and European retailers. It has a significant market-share position and through this key appointment is looking to build on this through the winning of significant new business contracts.
Reporting to Head of Retail Sales the role will involve a mix of new business and account development and contract values can be significant on a range up to £1 million. Success determines that you will need excellent selling skills as the sales cycle can be both long and complex to closure and often requires innovative creative thinking in addition to well researched targeted activity and high level relationship building.
You will need to demonstrate a solid background of success in selling supply contracts into the retail marketplace. You may be in loyalty or gift cards now alternatively you could be involved in point of sale systems or core support services for retailers. You will form part of a small specialist team reporting into the Head of Retails sales, considerable scope and autonomy will be offered and there is good career progression.
