An exciting urgent opportunity has arisen for an Outsourcing Director in a leading financial organisation; where you will lead the Outsourcing function within the Procurement team.
The role is a brand newly created role to engage with Senior Stakeholders to look at different outsourcing/off shoring initiatives, this could include BPO, ITO or other business unit's.
The client is looking for a seasoned professional with a track record of dealing with large outsourcing deals.
The role will have the following responsibilities:
*Demonstrate highly developed relationship management skills and gravitas to management level. Develop excellent client relationships.
*Proactively seek out and implement sourcing opportunities as well as understand and respond to client needs including establishing project requirements, deliverables, priorities and deadlines.
*Ability to constructively challenge clients regarding their requirements and approach where appropriate and have the influencing skills to have an impact at management level.
*Demonstrate sound understanding of client business and needs together with the ability to develop convincing ideas and solutions to meet these needs. This will include the injection

of your own creative ideas for client problems.
The candidates will posses the following attributes:
*Strong solid experience of procurement experiences in a major global blue chip environment
*Effective influencer at all levels but especially at the senior management level and across all divisions.
*Understanding of total cost of ownership and financial models
*Projects manage and own the sourcing project through every stage to delivery.
*Strong services procurement background incorporating Major ITO or BPO experience
*Global awareness
*Apply specialist knowledge to identify potential Sourcing opportunities.
*Ensure that the benefits of a competitive approach between vendors are maintained for as long as possible in a project.
*Experienced commercial and legal negotiator including excellent contract drafting skills.
*Ensure that your own knowledge of best in class procurement practices & marketplaces is demonstrated and continuously updated.
