We are seeking a client-facing Product Specialist focusing on our market implied analytics and derivatives pricing products. This person will serve as a product expert supporting both prospects and clients of our market implied analytics and CDS pricing data products. In this high-profile position, the specialist will need to coordinate closely with senior members of our client?s product development, sales, and quantitative financial research teams. He/She will be responsible for representing and refining product value proposition and functionality, identifying key target users and markets, and establishing marketing and communications practices to optimize the product sales process.
Responsibilities include: ? Supporting the selling process and our sales organization by extensive involvement in qualifying leads and participating in customer visits. ? Developing direct sales related marketing and communications practices that optimize the product sales process. ? Providing direct sales support by answering prospect and client questions regarding products. ? Ensuring product subscribers receive the highest level of customer service. ? Providing suggestions on product design, value proposition, and functionality to product manager based on feedback from clients and prospects.
I. Skills & Experience Summary The successful candidate must possess a strong background in credit markets or credit analytics and client-facing skills. The candidate should also possess a broad understanding of business, technical, and communication skills, and enjoy spending significant time in the market to understand requirements and find innovative solutions for the broad market. Travel required as dictated by business need (estimated at 35 - 40%).
? Extensive background with credit markets and analytical data products. ? Extensive proven experience in product development and/or sales, or as a market participant working with credit information products or tools. ? In depth understanding of the buy and sell-side market functions and processes. ? Excellent communication skills to both a technical and non- technical audience. ? Demonstrated ability to work across groups and geographies and with all levels of hierarchy. ? Must be hands-on, with ability to work well as member of a team. ? Strategic and dynamic thinker who is both proactive and innovative and who can represent our client and its values to outside parties. ?
