JOB TITLE: European Sales Manager - Speciality Polymers
REPORTS TO: European Commercial Director - Speciality Polymers
JOB PURPOSE
A EUROPEAN SALES MANAGER – POLYMERS is required by my client.
To manage and develop the sales of Speciality Polymers products within the defined European Market Areas, identifying new market opportunities for the products in line with the Business Strategy
PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES:
>To manage the European Sales Force of the Speciality Polymer products within Europe
>To manage a small number of key accounts and distributors across Europe, in line with Product Management guidelines
>Work closely with the Product Management function, providing feedback from the markets / application fields, identifying requirements for new products or modifications to existing products
>To prepare regular Business plans, monthly reports, quarterly forecasts and annual budgets
>To agree the annual Budget for the Area with the European Commercial Director, reviewing and reporting performance against the plan as required
>To implement the pricing strategy as agreed with Product Management
>To perform any other tasks reasonably requested
BACKGROUND EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
• Scientific Degree or equivalent
• In depth technical and commercial knowledge of the major polymer markets e.
